DLT REGISTRATION IS NOW A MANDATE!

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) introduced the Telecom Commercial Communication Customer Preference Regulation (TCCCPR) 2018 to oversee Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) and instill transparency within the SMS industry. TRAI's guidelines aim to bolster control, combat fraudulent practices, and ensure the safety of end customers.

  • To utilize Bulk SMS services with your own sender ID, registration on an operator's DLT (Distributed Ledger Technology) platform is required. This involves the approval of your sender ID and SMS content through the DLT platform.
  • For For Principal/Enterprise Entities: Registration is necessary for entities responsible for sending SMS to clients and customers. These entities can include individuals, sole proprietors, partnership firms, or private/public and government companies seeking to communicate with their clients.

DLT Registration Requirements:

Required Documents: You will need personal/business PAN cards, business registration certificates such as GST, Shop & Establishment Certificates, or other relevant legal documents.
If you have already registered with an operator's DLT platform, there is no need to register with another operator. However, if you have not registered with any DLT platform, you must complete the registration process with a single DLT platform.
